Final Dress/ Travel Day One!

Travel Day Number One!

Yesterday morning we had our final dress rehearsal at Chelsea Studios. We have been rehearsing our show there over a two week period with two days off. So we put up our show in 12 days!!! CRAZY!!!!!

After a fantastic dress rehearsal with friends in the audience, we packed up our two vans, one with all of our set pieces, props, and costumes. And one with our luggage and US! After a nice lunch break we hit the road. In our SWEEEET ride:

Yes, We have to drive THIS!

Yes, I was SCARED when I saw the size of these two vans. But surprisingly they drive really well. 

Our First Stop was Rutland, VT.

After an almost 5 and a 1/2 hour drive, with a few pit stops we made it to Mendon, VT where our hotel was. We found one of TWO places that were open past 9 pm and got some food at a cute little restaurant called, "Little Harry's. EXTREMELY yummy!!!  

After a nice meal, we checked into our hotel for the night. And relaxed. Because we had an early wake-up today: Up at 6:30 a.m. Leave hotel at 7:30. Arrive at theater 7:45. AND SET UP! BOOOOM!!

I shall be back soon to tell you all about our first performance this morning at the BEAUTIFUL Paramount Theater in Rutland, VT..... But first, I'm gonna nap...I'm SLEEEEEPY!!!
